E mail Address:   W_ALLEN_02@YAHOO.COM
Present Occupation:  Supervising Tax Auditor---State of Missouri
Life and Family:    Not a whole lot has really changed. Still working for the State of Missouri. Still have the same
hobbies---bowling, golf, square dancing, contra dancing, jogging, reading, movies. AlthoughI moved out of
University City in 1973, I still like to visit---particularly the loop area. And I always look forward to those chance
encounters with former U-City Classmates. One thing that I have done in the last 10 years is to write several
articles. None of them were published. Not surprising since I struggled to get a "C" in English. But I had fun writing
them, and sharing them with some of my friends.

Next 10 Years:    Hope to keep working for many more years. I like my job, so there is no big rush to want to
retire. Hope that I can keep healthy enough so that I can continue to do the things that I like. And if I can get lucky
and win the lottery---that probably won't happen, since I don't even play the lottery. Oh well.

Favorite Memories:    I recall the mornings before school began congregating with some of my friends and
talking about what we did the previous evening. I recall the Friday nights at Wigman in Heman Park Community
Center. Sometimes I didn't even dance. But I always had fun talking to existing friends and making new friends.
When I got my first car in April 1968 (a 1957 Chevy that my father bought brand new in July 1957 for $2,200) I felt
so proud showing it off to other students. My University City classmates were a really fine froup of people. And
yes, so were most of the teachers. Even to this day, I sometimes quote things that I learned from the teachers
back then.

E mail Address:    puter555@aol.com
Present Occupation:    Retired
Life and Family:    In 1982, my honey and I survived the Hyatt Hotel skywalks collapse.  In that moment, my world
changed as I saw lives disappear in an instant.  The lesson for me was to make every minute count.  And I have
tried.  Since then we have visited beautiful beaches around the world, survived a train derailment the day after
9/11 and in 2004 my kidneys shut down. I took this as a another sign from above and sold my 25 year old video
store. Thankfully, I am better now, and truly try to celebrate each day and volunteer to help others.  I am still
happily married after 36 years and am currently AARP Tax-Aide District Coordinator for Jackson and Cass
Counties in Missouri. We do thousands of tax returns at no charge for seniors and disabled people.  And I am on
my way to another beach now.

Next 10 Years:    To not look so old.

Favorite Memories:    My favorite memory from high school was Bert Minkin and a part of us all died when he
died. Philosopher, poet, writer, Mayor of University City for a day...an all around Renaissance man.

Present Occupation:    Real Estate Investments/Property Management
Life and Family:      I am still active in sports--softball, snow skiing & golf, but my "C jump" and "front jump" aren't
what they used to be. My daughters have grown and moved away to the Northwest--one in Portland, OR and one
in Seattle, WA. Our business has continued to grow and prosper.

Next 10 Years:    To be able to attend the 50th reunion.

Favorite Memories:     I'm sure bad stuff happened in high school, but by now I've forgotten all of that and just
remember the good friends & fun.
