Life and Family:   I have been married to Carolyn Alper (Ladue 68) for 34 years.  We have three children. Rabbi
Michael, 28, is married to Rabbi Janice and live in Philadelphia.  Adam, 26, lives in Denver.  Jamie,22, is a recent
graduate of the University of Wisconsin, lives in Chicago.  I am still importing shoes from China.

Next 10 Years:          I hope to remain in good health, see my kids prosper and maybe cut back on work a little
now that I am finished paying college tuitions.

Favorite Memories:     One of  my favoite memories is hanging out playing the pins at Fatman's Shine Parlor on
Olive and Coolidge across from Richie's Drugs.  Looking back at the good  times my high school friends (some
who I am still friends with) and I had were visiting Steak and Shake, Nino's and Rinaldi's and being able to grow up
in 60's.

Life and Family:    Hours of boredom punctuated by moments of sheer terror- which is life on the mississippi.
leisure time!-which is life off the river.travel-new mexico in particular.  

Next 10 Years:    lying on a beach somewhere earning better than 10%-maybe new mexico-lots of sand there.
life so far has been great-keeping it going will be the challenge.   

Favorite Memories:    my sister and her friends with that first forbidden cigarette (out back by the track). true
love (with no car and no idea). first day-10th grade......last day-12th grade

Life and Family:   I have swam countless miles in lap pools, hiked and snowshoed the Rockies with the two
significant men in my life (my human guy and my chocolate standard poodle), gotten back to creative writing,
attended the Iowa Writers Workshop summer writing festival in Iowa City twice (and visited with Connie Cohen in
Des Moines), traveled lots in the United States and Europe, and done too many other things to list here.    

Next 10 Years:    Retirement, more travel, and peace.  

Favorite Memories:    Wig Wam, dragging the strip, necking and fogging up the windows of Shelly Zide's blue
1960s mustang, Tom-Tom with Miss Balcom (and Judy Jackoway, Linda Meyer, and Mike Gerber), secret sauce
at Hamburger Heaven, fries at Steak 'n Shake, English classes with Miss Bowers and Larry Moceri ("Cool it, I'm a
king."), tennis with Deena Goldman, and being a gym leader with Marilynn Brody, who was a wonderful roomie
during our first year at Mizzou.

generation UCity grad family.

Next 10 Years:      Travel more; see my boys married and have grandchildren.

Favorite Memories:    All the musicals. A crush on Jeff Rush. Our own Temptations group in the main hallway.
Finally getting to go to Prom my senior year.
