Life and Family:  I retired from my 30-year career as a teacher/elementary counselor in 2002. I am thrilled to say
that since then, I have written 9 books of guidance curriculum, that are being used by counselors across the U.S.
and other countries.  My books are filled with stories, songs, activities and raps (yes, I said RAPS!) that can be
used to teach life lessons to children in fun and meaningful ways. I am busier than I have ever been - I write, do
presentations on my books, design jewelry, volunteer, teach art lessons and lessons on skin cancer prevention. I
enjoy being with my husband of 16 years and we see just about every movie that comes out. Two years ago, we
went to Italy and I met a cousin that I didn't even know I had... I could go on, but I can sum it all up by just saying
that I am  enjoying my life!

Next 10 Years:         I would like to continue doing everything I am currently doing!  I want to continue writing
educational books for teachers and counselors and I would love to attempt writing a fictional novel. I would also
love to learn to speak Italian!

Favorite Memories:     I remember Latin classes, being on the varsity Field Hockey team, Mr. Burn's English
classes and going to Junior and Senior Prom with Jim Obergfell.

Life and Family:        I've been to Afghanistan 3 times since the fall of the Taliban, helping to write the Lonely
Planet Guidebook to Afghanistan. I've trekked around Mt. Kailash, in Western Tibet twice.

Next 10 Years:      Retire to an organic farm in New Zealand.

Favorite Memories:        Leaving at age 18!

Life and Family:        I have been living in the Boston area for over 35 years and have a clinical psychology
practice in Wellesley, just down the road from Hillary's alma mater. Life really is a "pattern of timeless moments". I
was happily married for almost twenty years, my wife died of cancer, my son Ben is now 24, and I was so very
lucky to meet Bettina.  

Next 10 Years:      In my profession, 58 is still considered "young". So I think I will have many more years to learn
and enjoy my work. Of course, keep travelling and discovering new places. Spending as many weekends as
possible hiking with Bettina and Max (our Golden Retriever) in the White Mountains and Vermont.

Favorite Memories:      I often quote Miss Bowers, who on the first day of English class said, "I flunked
Tennessee Williams and I can flunk you too'. (I hope I didn't make this up.) Next year will be his 80th U.City High
School Reunion. Hope we all make it to ours !

Life and Family:        Life is good!  I have been fortunate to have a wonderful family (including a grandson), my
health, an abundance of friends, and work about which I am passionate.

Next 10 Years:      Good health, family and friendships.  Continued growth.  Being in the mystery of life.

Favorite Memories:       An amazing education. White Cloud, Tom Lawless, Wally Klein, Nadia Baginstos, Miss
Bowers.  A great group of friends. All you can eat fried chicken at Hojo's.   My 0-12 wrestling career. Velvet
Freeze on the way home. Getting drunk at Barry's house when his parents went to Vegas. The awakening of my
brain and heart in the spring of '68.  Getting tossed out of Rinaldi's.  The hole in the floor of Lindsey's car.  My
long friendship with my McKnight School friends.  My 1954 Ford (I have the hood ornament).  Trying to pass
Biology the day before graduation.  Refusing to learn the opening lines of The Canterbury Tales (that teacher did
not like me!)

Life and Family:        Sandy and I have been enjoying life, having been married for 36 years, and now working
together for the past 13 years in our own firm, after leaving corporate America.  We also enjoy spending a lot of
time with our kids. Debbie is a Senior Auditor with the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis.  Jennifer is a first grade
teacher in the Ft. Zumwalt school district.  Jennifer is now married to Doug, who she met at Bradley University.   
Doug works as an Engineer at Boeing. In addition, Debbie and Jennifer are Sunday School teachers and
Directors of the Temple Youth Group at Temple Israel.  We enjoy helping them out with some of their Youth
Group events.

Next 10 Years:      To continue to enjoy life with our kids, our family, and our friends.

Favorite Memories:       Participating in many extra-curricular activities, including intramural sports, German
Club, BBYO, WigWam, and the many events related to the time I spent on the Stage Crew as "Sunshine". Most of
all, my favorite memory is meeting the love of my life, my wife, Sandy.

Life and Family:       I have moved from retail to manufacturing, stayed with the same great lady and still live in
the mountains of Idaho. I began cycling 4 years ago and try to climb the 8800' pass to our north at least once a
year. I have been lucky enough to travel to Austria, France and Italy. I still love to hike, ski, fly fish, camp and
drink good wine.

Next 10 Years:     Work less, play a lot more, travel, and spend more time with good friends.

Favorite Memories:     Singing for Dr. Pro, hanging out at Wig Wham and folk dancing. Oh, the education was
darn good too.

Life and Family:       Gary and I have been married 36 years.  In February he was named President of the
University of Missouri System, so we spend our time in Columbia, MO and Kansas City, where we have lived for
the past several years.  We have one married daughter, Melanie, who is a VP-Corporate Communications for
AMC Theatres in KC, and Kara, who is a veterinarian in New Jersey.  We've had many company moves over the
years, having lived in many towns/cities within MO, Washington DC, Atlanta, and New Jersey, and Brussels,
Belgium.

Next 10 Years:      Grandbabies and eventually a slower pace of life.

Favorite Memories:        Hamburger Heaven, Steak and Shake, Allan's Delicatessen, Famous Barr, Heman
Park Pool.  I've really enjoyed reading about everyone's life for the last 40 years.
